Tonik is a new health insurance plan for active people who need health insurance but hate industry jargon and insurance forms. The plans are easy to
understand and very affordable. Tonik is a product of Anthem, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and UniCare. If you live in Texas or Illinois, it's called "Sound".
There are 3 Tonik plans to choose from:
Thrill Seeker (AKA Tonik 5000)
Part-Time Daredevil (Tonik 3000)
Calculated Risk Taker (Tonik 1500)
All plans offer low copays for doctor visits, $10 generic prescription drugs and $100 copays for emergency room coverage.
The annual deductible is different for each plan (from $1500-$5000). Office visit copays range from $20-$40.
The average price of Tonik for someone under 30 ranges from $79 - $132.
